The Treasure Hunt to Penang organised by Silverstone Sports Club (KSS) on 2 June 2007 received overwhelming response with a total of 40 cars comprising 160 members participating in the event.
Operations Manager, Mr Sivadas; Assistant GM Admin / Finance and KSS President, Mr Ooi Kheng Lam; Manufacturing Manager, Mr Chew Kee Guan and Senior Human Resources Manager Encik Khairudin Zaman flagged off the participants from Silverstone’s premises in Taiping.
Participants drove along the old trunk road which ended at the Juru toll plaza to look for answers. A dinner cum prize giving ceremony was held in a hotel in Penang. The evening was made merrier with the traditional costume competition and lucky draws. | The first prize winner for the treasure hunt was Team Explorer while Team Gempaq and Team Famili Ceria won the second and third placings respectively.
