'Parkson Cares' the corporate social responsibility arm of Parkson Corporation Sdn Bhd together with Alzheimer's Disease Foundation Malaysia (ADFM) organised a public forum on Alzheimer's Disease-'Dementia Is Everyone's | Business' on 8 March 2007 at Wisma MCA, Kuala Lumpur. Dr Yau Weng Keong and Dr Koh Wai Keat, Consultant Physician & Geriatrician from Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Hospital Fatimah Ipoh respectively, shared their expertise and experience in dealing with dementia with the public.
At the forum, Puan Sri Chelsia Cheng, the wife of our Group Chairman & CEO Tan Sri William Cheng, presented a contribution of RM39,888 from the sale of her 'Fly Our Dreams' album to the President of ADFM, Dato' Jeffrey Ng, for ADFM's pilot project of setting up a new home to care for ailing senior citizens.
